Is The Season Over?

      Some say, "Yes, the season is about over," but until the snow flies, the ground is frozen, the car goes out to explore with people, supplies, and desire, so it's not over.

     But what needs to be known, are there good chances for the outdoor adventurist of the gold and gem fashion despite not having big bucks or big pieces of equipment?

     Thought is: if there are yogos in a gulch, would they be in the land above or around the tied-up mine? Hmm..striking out with new strategies work for some; we hear about it on the internet.

Another question: Am I going to freeze to death if I go out now to camp while I prospect? Oh, and just what would be good to cook in a can over the stove? All that digging means a hungry belly. Lacking the Mineral Adventures

      If one types in sapphires to find in Montana on the official website called visitmt.com a comprehensive view is not shown. There is a lacking of representation of what and how people can find sapphires; the same for garnets.

      But if you want to find gold, learn how to pan, or learn about gold claims, that hole is pretty much empty. Of course, Steve Hicks, of Gold Panning Adventures is on there, but that's about it. That makes this webpage a lot more effective in teaching people about what and where there can be outings for Montana minerals. Must say the state needs more!!!

      Certainly there are plenty of people out there doing it, but finding out about who what where and how is a best kept secret!!       When our prospecting club out of Lincoln got messed with, run over, and had our chain jerked way too many times we had enough. Some people got active and we went to the local, state and national level in many ways with calls, letters, and provable, documentable facts about just how awful the USForest Service was operating. 

      Then you wait and observe just what you see. In your mind you think nothing is going to happen because perpetrators get supported everywhere due to blindness, but not for us. This is how we determine we made an effect and our voice was heard: 1) new revision of plans only in our district to include miners/prospectors 2) Luke, the smart a.. out of Lincoln was removed and put someplace else 3) rules stated where there were none given before 4) requests to communicate are given 5) new hires with mineral knowledge are on board with some background and education in the area, (nice!!) 6) meetings set up for input for access to the land 7) retirees and political people come to our booth to check us out as to what we are up to and give feedback and supposed direction  8) when Robin Baker out of Daines' office says our case went to DC, we can see the shakeup and it's gonna work. She gets flowers!! 9) When your site analysis indicates certain key cities are watching our posts, you know they are keeping an eye on us and what about all those undetermined sources of access? Hmm..government people can't be traced?
