      Set your calendar, pack your bags, sign out of work, or just leave home, but join those from all over the US who want to hear about the latest mining explorations and information in Butte, for the annual Symposium put on by the Montana Mining and Geology Bureau. 

      It is the best rock stimulation any prospector could ever want. Every half hour there are presentations from all sorts of points that give you the latest front runnings of efforts to learn about rocks, the sub earth and new technology trails into the land of the mineral lover. You will be so glad you took the time and opportunity to learn the new and different.

      Join others who stand at the top of the richest hill on earth and look out over Butte's landscape and see the Mining Musem, hob knob with students at Montana Tech and taste their delicable food that abounds on the campus.       The Montana Wilderness Association sends out emails to recreational outdoor activists about the upcoming deadline for making comments of using the forests for themselves, where or who are the reminders for the prospectors?

     There is two weeks left to speak your peace as claim holders on the land or forever hold your peace for the next 20 years.

     If you don't make your comments before September 6, OOps, the deadline has just been extended to October 9th. A reprieve for many but after that you are out of luck to any redress for access to your claim and the usage of it, especially if it is right where many want quiet time or special access to the forest for their own interest.

     Make your point on www.fs.usda.gov/goto/hic/forestplanrevision There are lots of topics to talk about and the USFS's management over our public lands and they have to respond to each and every comment. There is no limit as to how many times you can comment. Do IT Today!!

Stop Prospecting Complacency; Do Something Today!!! (No more bitching)

      Since there are so many mining districts in Montana and especially in the Helena National Forest, there certainly ought to be many opinions of what the USFS needs to consider, change, or do that should be put on the record as being spoken, written or said.

      Now is your opportunity or forever keep your voice shuttered, silent, or ended. No more complaining when you have an action opportunity to let them know what you want, think, or expect as a prospector.
